Ownership History of the Aaron P. Howland House (1819-1998)

The following section presents a comprehensive list of the owners of the land and, after 1834, the property (including both land and dwelling) that together comprise the Aaron P. Howland House, covering the period from 1819 to 1998.

The year 1998 has been selected as the cutoff date because most subsequent owners are still living. In recognition of their right to privacy, ownership after that date is not included. This list is intended to provide a detailed and historically grounded account of the property’s ownership during its early and formative years.
